Nydala Trävaru AB
Nydala Trävaru AB is a family-owned Swedish sawmill founded in 1908. The company has developed steadily and is now in its third generation of owners.
Substantial investment in machinery and new technology has made Nydala one of the leading sawmills in the southern Swedish highlands, producing 100.000 m3 of sawn pine and spruce per year. 90% of Nydala’s production is further processed (planed).
In 2007, a new planing mill was built, to include the fully automated Dynagrade programme. During 2010 and 2011 the Sawmill was updated and during 2013 a new log grader/sorter has been installed.
Nydala will continue to invest heavily in the sawmill to continue to provide the market with the highest quality product and remain a competitive supplier.
The machinery in the forest is equipped with state of the art on-board computers to receive continual data from the Sawmill to efficiently cut specification to market requirements.
Nydala Trävaru is FSC® and PEFC certified and holds CE certificates for all its products.
